Thanks to supporters, volunteers, family and friends for all of your hard work! We didn't get the results we wanted in our district, but we did statewide: Republicans made historic gains in the legislature and will lead both the Senate and House in Minnesota! We truly will have a fresh perspective after 38 years of Democratic control in the State Senate. No matter what happens in the Governor's race, fresh legislative leadership will help bring Minnesota back to prosperity and accountability.
On behalf of Team Petersen and my family, we are grateful for all of your support and help during our campaign. Whether you donated money, your time, or gave me your vote: every effort helped. We did make turnout gains this year - and we'll continue to build on that for 2012.
